Welcome to Kaka Chit Chat Empty
PostSubject: Welcome to Kaka Chit Chat   Welcome to Kaka Chit Chat EmptyWed Jul 08, 2015 1:42 pm

Hi everyone,
There are several kaka conservation programmes going on on both the North and South Islands.
I think the demand for captive bred kaka chicks for release is likely to increase if not remain the same for many years to come.

I have recently taken on the role of SI Kaka Captive Coordinator, and have found myself seeking advice from my collegues on the NI.  In one of those email chains, it was suggested that we start a blog/forum where we could post questions, share advice and connect with others working with Kaka (Nestor meridionalis).

So, here we are ...Welcome to KAKA CHIT CHAT!
